Here is the latest to the ongoing situation regarding the Coronavirus COVID-19 and what we are doing in response to the latest government guidelines.
As government rules begin to relax, we are starting to see businesses reopening and getting back to 'the new' normality.
Following the latest Government advice, site visits, installations, calibrations and repairs are now being arranged once again. Our teams will be provided with PPE to protect you and others when visiting sites. Although this is a very different and difficult time, we will ensure to keep you up-to-date through our mailing list and our Crypton website.
Calibrations, service & repair
In these uncertain times, our top priority is maintaining the safety and wellbeing of our customers and colleagues. We are reviewing the latest government advice which states support for equipment within garages is not currently listed as essential. The Garage Equipment Association (GEA) also recommends to not send engineers to site. In response to this, we have therefore suspended any field-based activities, such as site visits, installations, repair and calibrations until further notice.
If you are due a calibration or renewal, you can try contacting other service and maintenance providers in the meantime.
Orders, deliveries and stock
We have a number of critical spare parts, trolleys, emissions testers (CCP800 series), brake testers and lifts in stock. However, we do expect delays and interruptions until we return to normal working conditions.
If you wish to buy or have received our emissions tester, please send an email to our support team who will be able to provide step-by-step instructions on how to install it yourself. For peace of mind, our emissions tester comes calibrated and will not need another for 6 months.

We have minimised the number of people in our offices and factory to ensure social distancing and avoid the need for our employees to travel on public transport to come to work. It may therefore take longer than usual to answer your call or query.
