EV Training

Our Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Training provides structured progression from basic awareness through to hazard management and routine maintenance. The programme covers legislation, vehicle identification, system differences versus ICE, hazard recognition, risk assessment and high voltage safety.

Entry level training focuses on awareness and safe working practices. Higher levels address damaged vehicles, recovery scenarios, system isolation, PPE use, and the safe removal and refitting of high voltage components.

All courses are delivered face to face by experienced trainers and lead to nationally recognised IMI qualifications. This ensures individuals and employers can demonstrate competence, compliance and safe working practices when dealing with hybrid and electric vehicles.

    One day overview of hybrid and electric vehicles, covering ICE differences, risks and safety.

    IMI Level 2: Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Hazard Management

    One day training for recovery staff on EV and hybrid hazards, risks and safe precautions.

  • 4
    IMI Level 2/3: Routine Maintenance, Repair and Replacement

    Three day in‑depth training on EVs and hybrids, covering practical maintenance skills, risks and safety.
